Thursday Market
In 1226 King Henry 111 granted Cheltenham the right to hold a market every Thursday and 800 years on, the town still hosts a market each week at the west end of the High Street. Fresh local fruit and vegetables can be found as well as clothes, cds and plants.
Cheltenham Farmers Market
Cheltenham Farmers Market takes place in Long Gardens Promenade every 2nd and last Friday of each month from 9am until 3pm. Farmers Market is bright and bustling. Located right in the centre of Cheltenham it makes a vibrant scene and it is a great opportunity to sample and buy locally grown and made produce from Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

Cheltenham Racecourse is host to a large Antiques and Collectors Fair on the last Sunday of every month. Visitors can find more than 100 antiques and collectables stalls indoor and outdoor. It is open 8am until 4pm, admission is £2 pp.

Tobacco Factory Market
The weekly Sunday market at the Tobacco Factory features around 30 food and craft stalls with a strong bias towards eco-friendly, fair trade, organic and local products. The stallholders sell delicious breads, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, olives and gorgeous arts and crafts. Treat yourself to lunch at the market too, with fresh and tasty pies, Szechuan cooking or sushi or take brunch, tapas or coffee at the Tobacco Factory Cafe Bar.
St Nicholas Market
Established in 1743, St Nicholas Market is open six days a week and encompasses the indoor and outdoor markets at Corn Street. Stalls sell a range of fresh local foods and deli produce plus there are cafes, second hand books, old clothes, records, pictures, fossils, candles and a huge range of unusual goods. The Glass Arcade within the market offers food from around the world, all under one roof.
Harbourside Market
Taking place along the Watersheds covered walkway on Bordeaux Quay, the Harbourside Market provides access to high-quality, locally produced food and showcases arts and crafts created in Bristol and the surrounding area. It runs each weekend, featuring food, arts and crafts on Saturdays and books, arts, records and plants on a Sunday. The markets aims to reanimate St Augustines reach and its quayside, drawing attention to the other independent trading and cultural activities around the Harbourside.
