Reception
There is a free car park to the front of the hotel
Disabled parking spaces are clearly marked at the front of the hotel
There are six steps to gain access into the reception
The reception area has seating for guests to wait
Porter service is available to assist guests with luggage upon request
When checking-in, reception staff will note if guests will need assistance in the event of an evacuation

Public rooms in the hotel
All corridors and public areas are well lit
All doors and corridors are wide enough for wheelchairs/zimmers/pushchairs
The library and lounge and bar are accessible via the reception (six steps to gain access to reception)
Our restaurant is accessible from the reception with a further seven steps, a handrail is in place
Our gardens and terrace are accessible to the side of the hotel – there are no steps
A disabled toilet is available in our Caroline Suite function room, accessible for wheelchairs users from the main carpark and has baby-changing facilities
Baby-changing facilities are also available in the hotel on the first floor – 18 steps
Female toilets are located on the first floor of the hotel – 18 steps
Male toilets are located on the lower ground floor of the hotel – 11 steps. They are also accessible from the back of the hotel/gardens and terrace area with one step
All diets can be catered for although advance notice is helpful
High chairs are available and may be used in all areas
Dogs are welcome in our lounge, bar area, library, gardens and terrace. Service dogs are welcome with no restrictions
Door frames and doors are painted contrasting colours to the walls in the public areas
Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the public rooms and all of the bedrooms

Meeting rooms
Our main meeting room, The Caroline Suite is easily accessible from the main carpark with male, female and disabled toilets available all on ground floor level
The Crellin Suite, situated on the lower ground only has access via steps
The Sandford Suite, situated on the lower ground can be accessed from our gardens/terrace with no steps
The Sankey Suite, situated on the lower ground can be accessed from our terrace with one step
Private dining is available in all our meeting rooms

Bedrooms
Of the bedrooms, there are two ground floor Garden wing rooms which are suitable for those with
restricted mobility. They can be single or double occupancy, one of which has a walk-in shower. No disabled rails present
We have a direct dial telephone, an audio alarm that is activated by the fire alarm and smoke alarms in every bedroom
The bedrooms and bathrooms are generously proportioned but some provide more turning and transfer space than others
We try as far as possible to allocate bedrooms based upon individual guest needs
Emergency procedures are posted on the door to each bedroom and are explained upon check in for any disabled guests upon request
Every bedroom has digital television with remote control
There are bedside lights
All of our bedding is non-allergenic
All rooms are non-smoking in compliance with current legislation
Furniture within the rooms can be moved
Every bedroom is carpeted
Bedroom lighting can be switched on at the entrance to the room
All bathrooms have non-slip floor shower mats
Bathroom lighting is bright and all sanitary ware is white
